Job Description:
The VP of RSC is responsible for leading and rebuilding a regional 3PL service center, driving revenue growth, restoring culture, and optimizing operational performance.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Lead and rebuild the Orlando regional office (sales operations leadership)
Drive growth of existing house accounts and secure net-new business
Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing talent (including early-career pipelines)
Manage Director of Sales, Director of Operations, and broader teams
Own P&L, revenue growth, and performance metrics
Establish accountability, urgency, and strong cultural standards
Partner with corporate leadership to align strategy and execution
Identify and execute strategic territory expansion opportunities
Requirements:
Must-Haves:
8–10 years of progressive experience in the 3PL industry (non-negotiable)
Strong sales leadership background (sales-first mindset)
Experience leading teams of 5–10 direct/indirect reports
Proven commercial acumen (P&L ownership, revenue growth, account expansion)
Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop talent
Turnaround mindset with ability to rebuild underperforming offices
Strong executive presence and communication skills
Stable career progression (no frequent job changes)
Nice-to-Haves:
Prior office or territory turnaround experience
Experience running a revenue center or regional operation
Blend of account management and new business development expertise
Experience managing early-career or university recruiting pipelines
Background from established 3PL environments
Compensation & Incentives:
Base Salary: $150,000 – $175,000 (level-dependent)
Commission: Up to 40% of base (uncapped, tied to company goals)
Turnaround incentives: Quarterly milestone bonuses (e.g., $20K)
Management Incentive Program: Eligible at $1M office revenue
~0.5% of company operating profit pool
Potential $40K–$80K annually
Target Year 1 Total Compensation: $200K–$215K
Long-term Top Performer Potential: $400K total compensation
