Are you a dynamic, results-oriented sales leader with a proven track record of success? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in driving revenue growth, direct sales, and B2B sales. This leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing and motivating the sales team, and maintaining key customer relationships. This is a permanent position, offering a unique opportunity to shape and drive our sales strategy and make a significant impact on our business.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company goals.
2. Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding relationships with existing clients.
3. Lead, manage, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets.
4. Establish and maintain key customer relationships to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure sales, marketing, and business strategies are aligned.
6. Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
7. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
8. Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
9. Provide leadership and direction to the sales team, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and feedback.
10. Represent the company in all sales negotiations and deal-closing activities.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
2. Proven experience as a VP of Sales, Sales Director or similar senior sales role, with 5+ years in a leadership position.
3. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
4. Strong business sense and industry expertise in B2B sales.
5. Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
6. Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors.
7. Demonstrable experience in developing strategic sales plans and successfully implementing them.
8. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
9. Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.
11. Ability to travel as needed.
