Kforce is partnering with a rapidly growing, multi-site manufacturer of engineered-to-order industrial systems that support hyperscale data center and cloud infrastructure customers. Our client in Dallas, TX is seeking a VP of Manufacturing Operations to lead end-to-end manufacturing execution across a geographically distributed production footprint. Summary: This executive will be fully accountable for delivering safe, predictable, and scalable operational performance in an environment where hyperscale customer expectations for schedule certainty, quality, throughput, and execution discipline are absolute. Success in this role requires a leader who builds results through strong operating systems, disciplined execution, and leadership rigor-not heroics-ensuring commitments to hyperscale customers are met consistently and repeatably. Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute manufacturing operations strategy aligned with aggressive growth objectives and hyperscaler demand profiles
  • Serve as the senior executive accountable for near-term and mid-term production performance supporting large-scale cloud and data center programs
  • Translate enterprise-level objectives into clear, measurable expectations for operations and site leadership
  • Build a scalable, repeatable execution engine capable of supporting high-mix, engineered-to-order manufacturing
  • Own daily manufacturing execution across multiple production sites delivering mission-critical infrastructure systems
  • Lead, coach, and develop site leaders with consistent standards for accountability, cadence, and results
  • Establish a common operating rhythm that provides early visibility into risks impacting hyperscale delivery commitments
  • Create an environment where issues surface early and are resolved through disciplined escalation and data-driven action
  • Drive execution excellence through standard work, clear ownership, and predictable recovery planning

Requirements:

  • 15-20+ years of progressive leadership in manufacturing or operations within discrete manufacturing environments
  • Direct experience supporting hyperscale customers or large cloud/data center operators required
  • Proven success leading large, multi-site manufacturing organizations delivering high-volume, schedule-critical programs
  • Demonstrated experience scaling production capacity, including new facility launches or major expansions tied to hyperscaler growth
  • Track record of materially improving on-time delivery, throughput, and operational stability in demanding customer environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
