Revelyst is a collective of makers, designers, and innovators creating performance gear and precision technologies that redefine what’s possible. Our category-leading brands—including Bushnell Golf and Foresight Sports—are powered by craftsmanship, engineering excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.
We are seeking a strategic, forward‑thinking Vice President of Human Resources to lead HR for the Revelyst Golf Technology (RGT) Platform. This leader will play a central role in shaping organizational structure, talent strategy, and resourcing models in a fast‑moving, high‑growth, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong voice in organizational design, talent mapping, and workforce planning—particularly across software engineering and technical functions, including blended workforce models that leverage both W‑2 employees and contractors. This person thrives in a startup‑like setting, moves with urgency, and thinks creatively about scaling teams and capability.
This position reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and serves as a key partner to the President of RGT. It is based in San Diego, with plans to relocate to our new state‑of‑the‑art headquarters in Carlsbad later this year.
As the Vice President of Human Resources, you will have an opportunity to:
Organizational Design, Talent Mapping & Resourcing (Top Priority)
+ Lead organizational design for a rapidly scaling, constantly evolving platform.
+ Build and maintain talent maps for critical roles, succession pipelines, and organizational capabilities.
+ Design resourcing strategies across full-time, W2, and contractor talent—especially in software engineering and technical functions.
+ Partner with leadership to define future-state org structures that support growth, efficiency, and cross-functional alignment.
+ Assess team capability, role clarity, spans and layers, and structural opportunities to support scalability.
+ Serve as a trusted advisor with a strong, assertive point of view on org design and talent decisions.
Strategic HR Partnership & Workforce Planning
+ Act as the primary HR business partner to the RGT President and leadership team.
+ Forecast hiring needs, manage the headcount cost envelope, and guide resource deployment.
+ Provide insights from HR Dashboards and People Analytics—including attrition, engagement, productivity, and workforce trends.
+ Partner with Compensation on job analyses, market benchmarking, and job architecture alignment.
+ Talent Strategy, Performance & Leadership Development
+ Guide performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and evaluation cycles.
+ Partner with leaders on succession planning, leadership capability, and development needs across the platform.
+ Influence talent decisions through data-driven insights, market knowledge, and organizational understanding.
Employee Experience & Cultural Leadership
+ Champion a digital-first, self-serve HR environment to increase speed, transparency, and enablement.
+ Oversee a high-quality onboarding experience that is efficient, engaging, and “radically hospitable.”
+ Strengthen a positive, inclusive, high-performance culture rooted in Revelyst’s values.
Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards & HR Operations
+ Support recruiting through partnership on role definition, candidate assessment, and hiring processes.
+ Collaborate with Benefits and Compensation to drive equitable, competitive, and consistent total rewards practices.
+ Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and regulatory requirements.
+ Maintain accurate HR documentation for audits, reporting, and compliance.
+ Monitor and report HR metrics (turnover, engagement, attendance, productivity) to support business planning.
Cross-Functional HR Leadership
+ Collaborate closely with People Operations, People Analytics, Talent Acquisition, and COEs to deliver integrated HR solutions.
+ Lead or participate in high-priority HR initiatives that advance platform and enterprise objectives.
+ Leverage HR systems and data to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
You have:
+ 12+ years of progressive HR experience (HRBP or HR generalist leadership), supporting dynamic, fast-moving businesses.
+ Experience supporting software engineering organizations, including resourcing models leveraging W2 and contractor workforces.
+ Ability to operate in a startup-like, entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with comfort navigating ambiguity.
+ Deep understanding of employment law, compliance, and current HR best practices.
+ Strong organizational design capability with proven experience shaping team structures and talent maps.
+ Demonstrated ability to influence, advise, and build trust at all organizational levels.
+ Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
+ Strong analytical mindset with experience using HR data to drive business decisions.
+ Knowledge of digital HR platforms, employee self-service tools, and modern HR systems.
+ Experience in performance management, recruiting, onboarding, and total rewards partnership.
