Vice President, Healthcare Staffing (Travel Nursing & Allied) - Atlanta 
MUST HAVE- Healthcare Staffing industry experience and Travel Nurse/Allied experience a plus


We are seeking a strategic, execution-driven Vice President to lead a  healthcare staffing division focused on Travel Nursing and Travel Allied placements. This role represents a key leadership position within the organization and will play a critical role in driving growth, operational excellence, and market leadership across two established staffing brands.

The Vice President will partner closely with the Executive Vice President to shape and execute the division’s strategy while delivering strong financial performance and operational results. This leader will oversee a team of five senior leaders responsible for sales, recruiting, and operational delivery, ensuring alignment, accountability, and consistent execution across the organization.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a performance-driven environment, can translate strategy into action, and has a proven track record of scaling staffing organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership
  • Partner with the Executive Vice President to define and execute the division’s strategic direction, growth initiatives, and market positioning.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand market share in Travel Nursing and Travel Allied staffing.
  • Develop and implement scalable growth strategies across both brands.
  • Drive continuous improvement across recruiting, sales, and operational processes.


Financial Leadership
  • Maintain full P&L responsibility for a division, including revenue growth, gross margin performance, and cost management.
  • Partner on annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Monitor key operational and financial metrics, ensuring strong accountability for performance across teams.


Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead a team of five senior leaders responsible for recruiting, sales, and operations.
  • Drive performance through clear goals, strong accountability, and disciplined execution.
  • Establish strong operating rhythms including goal setting, performance reviews, and KPI tracking.
  • Develop leadership capability and build high-performing teams across the organization.

Execution & Operational Excellence
  • Translate strategic initiatives into clear execution plans with measurable outcomes.
  • Ensure consistent operational execution across both brands while maintaining each brand’s unique identity and market positioning.
  • Drive improvements in recruiting productivity, candidate pipeline growth, and client delivery performance.
  • Implement scalable processes, systems, and operational frameworks that support continued growth.


Client & Market Leadership
  • Maintain deep insight into healthcare staffing market dynamics, including hospital systems, MSP relationships, and vendor programs.
  • Support and strengthen key client relationships and strategic partnerships.
  • Ensure high levels of service delivery and client satisfaction across the division.


Qualifications
  • Leadership experience in healthcare staffing, travel nursing, or travel allied staffing.
  • Proven success leading sales and recruiting organizations within a staffing environment.
  • Experience managing P&L performance and operational metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead leaders and drive results in a layered organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-focused leadership style.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational alignment skills.
