Our growing business-to-business client in the Baltimore area is hiring a Vice President to manage design, construction, assembly, finishing, installation, and project management for a fast-paced division. You’ll provide operational and strategic leadership to drive profits, ensure operational excellence, and deliver outstanding customer support. This is a full-time staff position with healthcare, vision, dental and other insurance plans; a 401K with match; and paid time off.

Your Mission:
- Lead and mentor staff at various levels within the company, including directors, managers, and supervisors across multiple groups within the organization.
- Build and implement strategic plans that align with company goals for growth, quality, and profitability.
- Manage daily operations to ensure production productivity, quality, and successful on-time delivery.
- Oversee budgets, forecasting, and profit and loss for the division.
- Ensure conformity with safety standards, building codes, and local permitting requirements.
- Promote collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and career development for your team.
- Discover and apply new technologies, materials, and methods to facilitate future company success.
- Partner with marketing and sales on new opportunities, major project bids, and proposal accuracy.
- Build external and internal relationships, resolve issues, and strengthen customer service.
Your Expertise and Strengths:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least five years in a senior management role.
- Related industries include commercial construction, fabrication, commercial signage, or manufacturing.
- A demonstrated record of accomplishment in successfully leading large-scale production and installation teams.
- Strong business acumen, including budgeting, financial analysis, and profitability mindset.
- Project management, process optimization, and safety compliance expertise.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in management, business, industrial design or a relevant discipline; Master’s or MBA is desirable.
