Description

JOB DESCRIPTION: + Under general supervision, assists the veterinarians and researchers in surgery and radiology, animal care, treatments, and diagnostic and preventative procedures. + Maintains medical records and inventory. + Provides non-surgical technical assistance to researchers as directed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + A high school diploma or equivalent + Three years of experience as a veterinary technician + OR a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience as an animal care technician + OR graduation from a two year veterinary technician program and one year of veterinary technician experience. + Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
