Veterinary Tech Assistant Instructor

• Prepare and deliver lecture, laboratory, and clinical instruction according to the approved curriculum.
• Follow current course outlines, objectives, and evaluation methods; develop materials as directed.
• Maintain daily lesson plans and instructional documentation.
• Monitor student attendance, progress, and retention; document as required.
• Grade assignments, return feedback promptly, and submit final grades on time.
• Provide academic support during scheduled office hours or by appointment.
• Substitute for classes as needed.
• Advise students on academic performance, school policies, and expectations.
• Maintain communication with the Program Manager, Lead Instructor, or Campus President regarding student and program matters.
• Submit textbook, supply, and equipment needs in writing.
• Monitor and manage equipment and supply inventory.
• Secure consumable supplies and educational materials as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
• Participate in faculty development to meet accreditation standards.
• Ensure students adhere to catalog and program guidelines.
• Attend required meetings and serve on committees as assigned.
• Perform other duties as required.
  
  

• Associate Degree preferred.
• Veterinary Technician License preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of veterinary field experience required.
• Experience working with small animals required (no large animal experience needed).
• Previous instructor or teaching experience preferred.
  
  

• $25.00 per hour (Non-Exempt), dependent on experience.
