Key Responsibilities
- Greeting clients and pets when they arrive at the clinic
- Answering phone calls and responding to emails
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Maintaining patient records and updating medical files
- Processing payments, invoices
- Checking in and checking out patients
- Explaining basic clinic procedures and policies
- Coordinating communication between veterinarians, technicians, and pet owners
- Managing waiting room flow and ensuring a calm environment
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Excellent customer service and communication
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic computer and scheduling software skills
- Ability to handle stressful or emotional situations
- Knowledge of animal care terminology (helpful but often learned on the job)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
