Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify early-stage startups through accelerators, demo days, founder networks, and ecosystem events
Conduct initial founder outreach and introductory conversations
Evaluate early signals such as team quality, problem relevance, product insight, and market opportunity
Maintain and expand sourcing networks across founders, operators, angels, and startup communities
Track and manage sourced opportunities using internal deal flow systems
Prepare concise scouting notes, founder summaries, and opportunity briefs for the investment team
Support thematic sourcing aligned with firm investment theses
Monitor emerging trends, technologies, and founder communities to identify new sourcing channels
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, entrepreneurship, technology, or a related field
Strong interest in startups, venture capital, and founder-led innovation
Experience in venture internships, startup communities, accelerators, consulting, or campus entrepreneurship is helpful
Natural networker with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Curious, proactive, and comfortable initiating conversations with founders
Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple sourced opportunities
