Job Title: Vehicle Inventory Management Specialist
Location: Sandy Springs, GA
Pay Rate: $25/hr W 2
Duration: 12+ Month Contract
HYBRID

Summary:
- Assist in the end-to-end operational management of Lemon Law buyback vehicles across the company states.
- Work Mode: Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate timely movement, inspection, and repair of vehicles stored at the Sandy Springs location to minimize aging inventory and support efficient disposition.
- Coordinate transportation of buyback vehicles between customers, storage facilities, authorized dealers, repair facilities, auctions, and donation partners.
- Maintain accurate, real-time inventory status of all buyback vehicles, including location, condition, repair status, and disposition path.
- Monitor vehicle repair needs and availability of parts; proactively engage authorized company dealers to schedule and complete repairs when feasible.
- Ensure vehicles meet quality and compliance requirements prior to resale or auction.
- Work with third-party partners and vendors to manage timelines, costs, and service levels.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Legal, Customer Retention, Vehicle Logistics, Accounting, Risk Management, and Field Operations.
- Track and manage repair approvals, invoices, and supporting documentation related to vehicle movement and disposition.
- Identify aging inventory, bottlenecks, or process inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to internal processes, documentation standards, and system updates related to buyback vehicles.
- Support special projects and ad hoc requests related to buyback operations, inventory optimization, or risk mitigation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Business Management, Logistics/Transportation Management, Supply Chain, Finance or Accounting, or Operations Management.
- 3-5 years of experience in vehicle inventory management, asset recovery or remarketing, logistics and transportation coordination, automotive operations or fleet management, vendor or third-party partner management.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong understanding of vehicle lifecycle management, including repair, storage, transportation, and disposition.
- Solid vendor management and coordination skills, including issue resolution and performance tracking.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze inventory status, aging, and costs to drive timely decisions.
- Effective communication skills with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Working knowledge of inventory, logistics, or case management systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability and accuracy.
