Job Details / Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) processes across commercial construction projects
Develop, maintain, and update 3D models using Revit and other BIM tools to support design, coordination, and constructability reviews
Perform clash detection, resolve conflicts, and facilitate coordination meetings with project teams, designers, subcontractors, and stakeholders
Produce accurate BIM deliverables including as-builts, quantity takeoffs, 4D scheduling visualizations, and field support documentation
Collaborate with field teams through site visits, shop drawing reviews, and installation verification to ensure model accuracy and project efficiency
Support preconstruction and construction phases with RFIs, logistics planning, and digital project execution
Implement and maintain VDC/BIM standards and best practices to drive project success and innovation
Qualifications:
1+ year of hands-on BIM/VDC experience in commercial construction
Strong proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360/ACC, and Bluebeam
Solid understanding of construction processes, drawings, specifications, and coordination workflows
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with occasional site visits in the Chesapeake, VA area
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
