Role Overview
The VC Analyst – New Grad role is a foundational investment position for candidates entering venture capital directly from undergraduate or graduate programs. Analysts support investment teams across deal sourcing, research, due diligence, and portfolio analysis, while receiving structured exposure to startup evaluation and venture fund operations.

Key Responsibilities
Research early-stage startups and assist with inbound and outbound deal sourcing
Conduct initial reviews of founders, products, markets, and business models
Support due diligence activities, including competitive analysis and traction assessment
Build and maintain basic financial models, capitalization tables, and market maps
Assist in developing investment theses and sector research initiatives
Prepare summaries and supporting materials for investment committee discussions
Track portfolio company KPIs and assist with internal reporting
Monitor venture capital markets, technology trends, and startup ecosystems
Attend demo days, pitch events, and venture networking sessions
Support fundraising efforts, LP communications, and internal data management
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, computer science, or a related analytical discipline
Strong interest in venture capital, startups, and innovation
Internship experience in finance, consulting, startups, venture capital, or strategy is helpful but not required
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
Clear written and verbal communication abilities
High curiosity, coachability, and eagerness to learn
