Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain valuation-focused financial models, including DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions, and LBO analyses
Develop detailed 3-statement operating models to support valuation assumptions
Perform sensitivity, scenario, and assumption-based analyses to assess value drivers
Conduct industry, market, and company research to support valuation inputs
Support valuation work for M&A transactions, fairness opinions, capital raises, and strategic reviews
Assist with preparation of valuation materials, investment memoranda, and client presentations
Review and interpret financial statements, forecasts, and management projections
Collaborate with senior bankers, investors, and advisors across transaction workflows
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Strong foundation in corporate valuation methodologies and financial modeling
High proficiency in Excel-based modeling and analytical tools
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to clearly explain valuation assumptions and results
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Prior internship or experience in investment banking, valuation advisory, private equity, consulting, audit, or FP&A is beneficial
Proficiency in PowerPoint and common financial research platforms
