User Experience Researcher - Senior

Introduction

We are looking for a passionate and experienced User Experience Researcher to join our team. This role involves leading research initiatives to enhance digital user experiences, contributing to strategic product development, and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly on W2.
• Bachelor's degree with 6 years or Master's degree with 3 years of experience in User Experience, Interaction Design, Communication Design, Information Architecture, Psychology, HCI, Human Factors, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the role of an experience design researcher.
• Strong knowledge of research techniques and the understanding of when to use each technique to ensure data validity.
• Experience in conducting research on complex projects and delivering transformative insights.
• Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in UX, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, UX, HCI, Human Factors, or a related field.
• Strong background in statistical analysis using software like SPSS or SAS.
• Experience with remote usability platforms such as UserZoom or UserTesting.com.
• Background in Cognitive, Applied, or Experimental Psychology, or Behavioral Economics.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead research activities for Agile teams, identify opportunities, prioritize efforts, and measure business outcomes.
• Develop and measure Experience Design key performance indicators.
• Conduct user research using various techniques such as usability testing, structured surveys, and focus groups.
• Analyze research data using appropriate statistical and qualitative techniques.
• Summarize research findings for project teams, creating usability problem lists and user requirements.
