User Acceptance Test (UAT) Specialist

Description: Our client is currently seeking a User Acceptance Test (UAT) Specialist Local to Columbus OH for an Onsite opportunity
Duties and Responsibilities :_
- Perform Regression & Functional User Acceptance Testing of systems
- Assist in the parallel running of the current system to ensure the new system results are validated against the existing system
- Documentation of UAT Test Scenarios - Test Cases / Test Scripts in qTest
- Definition and preparation of Test Data
- Identification and analysis of defects and work with Ops teams to ensure the quality of delivered software as well as ensuring timely bug resolution.
- In parallel with testing responsibilities, the candidate will be required to assist in the delivery of monthly/quarterly reporting on the testing results.
- Update any documentation that has gone out-of-date.
Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:
- Previous relevant experience in a test or technical support environment.
- Test Preparation and Execution experience (preferably within business applications and processes)
- Strong problem solving and good analytical skills (defect analysis and reporting)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Track record of successful project completion working in a team
- Ability to multi-task and test different applications relating to a release
- Good time management skills and the ability to work on tight deadlines
- Test Automation experience in Java, Selenium, UDF etc. is good to have
