As a Urology Physician, you will be responsible for managing general urology cases and supporting the hospital’s urology needs during assigned shifts. You will work alongside a small, dedicated team to deliver high-quality care to adult patients, primarily through inpatient and ER call duties. This role requires flexibility, clinical expertise, and a commitment to excellence in patient outcomes.
Required Skills:
- Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Urology
- Active Pennsylvania medical license
- DEA certification
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical experience
- Proficiency in general urology procedures and patient management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and handle 24-hour call shifts
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Prior work in community hospital settings
- Familiarity with trauma protocols and interdepartmental collaboration
- Additional certifications in minimally invasive urology techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Fellowship training in Urology is a plus
- Proven track record of working in professional, team-oriented environments
Other Requirements:
- Availability for 24-hour call shifts scheduled from Friday 0700 to Monday 0700, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to coordinate with hospital staff and adhere to credentialing timelines (approximately 90 days; expedited credentialing available)
- Must have a clean license for temporary credentialing if applicable
