Overview:
The University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville, Department of Urology, seeks a full time Assistant Scientist. The Assistant Scientist will work under the supervision of the Professor and Chair of Urology. The laboratory is focused on prostate cancer basic science research. Specifically, the laboratory is interested in cell signaling, immunology and studies involving mouse models.

Responsibilities:
<div>Responsible for day-to-day laboratory operations and vector</div><div>construction.</div><div> </div><div>Coordinate with Pl in the planning of the sequence of</div><div>experiments, as well as detailed experimental design at all</div><div>stages.</div><div> </div><div>Responsible for detailed primary data analysis on each</div><div>experiment, graph generation, consultations with</div><div>collaborators, abstract, manuscript and presentation</div><div>preparations.</div><div> </div><div>Attend, actively participate in laboratory meetings and</div><div>departmental academic conferences. Be involved in teaching</div><div>of other trainees and learners in the department.</div>

Qualifications:
