Job Details

Job Responsibilities

  • PA or NP Provider obtains an adequate history and performs an appropriate physical examination for the presenting problem
  • Order pertinent laboratory and radiographic studies as needed based on the initial evaluation
  • Make appropriate therapeutic decisions in conjunction with the patient based on the information gathered.
  • Administers appropriate medication or treatment as necessary.
  • May perform Minor surgical procedures such as suturing, stitching, stapling, incision and drainage when necessary.
  • DOT Certification is preferred and if you currently don’t have one, will be required to get certified within 6 months of hire

Qualifications:

FNP or PA-C Provider MUST have at least 2 years of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience
Provider must have active NC Provider license in good standing
Provider MUST have solid skills in Suturing, Laceration Repair, Splinting, Incision and Drainage
Provider must be able to read and interpret Diagnostic labs and imaging such as XRay and EKG
