Position Details

• Position: Travel to Perm Home Health Director

• Facility Type: Long-Term Care / Home Health

• Location: Near Ness City, Kansas

• Schedule: 5x8s or 4x10s

• Shift: Day Shift

• Weekly Hours: 40 hours

• Contract Length: 13 weeks (with strong potential to convert to permanent)

• Start Date: ASAP

• Compensation: Up to $2,200/week

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the home health department, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards

• Supervise and support clinical staff including nurses, therapists, and support personnel

• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and care protocols

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements (CMS, Medicare guidelines, etc.)

• Manage budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and performance metrics

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction

• Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives

• Serve as a liaison between leadership, staff, patients, and families

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)

• Licensure: Active RN license (Kansas or compact state preferred)

• Experience:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of nursing experience required

  • Prior leadership or management experience in home health or LTC strongly preferred

• Certifications: BLS required (additional certifications preferred)

• Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and home health operations

• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
