Currently, we are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Unit Clerk to support healthcare operations in a fast-paced environment.

The Unit Clerk will play a critical role in facilitating communication and coordination among healthcare staff by managing clerical tasks and ensuring the efficient flow of information within the unit. This position calls for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and has a passion for contributing to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical duties including filing, data entry, and maintenance of medical records.
• Manage communication between healthcare providers, patients, and their families.
• Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Schedule appointments and maintain effective communication within the unit.
• Assist nursing staff with the management of patient charts and medical documentation.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in clerical or health-related fields is a plus.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting or administrative role is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare management software is preferred.
