Job Details
We are seeking a Trusts and Estates Attorney to join our team and support a sophisticated private client practice spanning estate planning, trust administration, and related litigation matters.
Responsibilities:
- Draft wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, and related estate planning documents
- Advise clients on estate, gift, wealth transfer, asset protection, and succession planning strategies
- Manage trust and estate administration matters, including probate, fiduciary issues, and ongoing client counseling
- Handle trust and estate litigation matters, including contested probates, fiduciary disputes, and related civil proceedings
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement documents and participate in hearings, mediations, and case strategy
- Collaborate with tax, business, and financial advisors to deliver integrated planning and dispute resolution solutions
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in trusts and estates, estate planning, trust administration, and/or fiduciary litigation
- Strong drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills with the ability to independently manage matters
- Licensed attorney in the state of practice or eligible for timely admission
