Trust Litigation or Civil Litigation Attorney with Emphasis on Trust Litigation

The ideal candidate will have five (5) to twelve (12) years of litigation experience and/or a desire to develop trust and estate-related litigation. This position involves working under the guidance of more senior attorneys in our Trusts & Estates practice group from inception through trial. Must be self-motivated, inspire client confidence and have excellent academic credentials. The candidate must be client service focused, have an excellent work ethic, impeccable attention to detail, a professional demeanor, and exemplify excellent written, verbal and research skills. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and Lexis/Nexis is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Well versed in drafting petitions and responsive pleadings.
- Experience in discovery practice including depositions.
- Experience making court appearances.
- Excellent research skills.
- Drafting and analytical skills.
- Trial Preparation (Trial experience a plus but not required).
