BASA Resources Inc, a private upstream oil and gas company is seeking an experienced Treater Truck Driver.
Position Summary: Deliver hazardous chemicals and treat oilfield wells safely and responsibly. Maintain all equipment required to perform job functions.
Essential Duties – other duties as assigned.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicle and equipment.
- Maintain truck and equipment in a safe and operable condition at all times.
- Properly load chemical trucks.
- Treat wells in a timely manner as scheduled.
- Maintain regular communication with supervisor and team in order to report vehicle issues, field problems and safety hazards.
- Maintain driver’s logs, according to DOT regulations.
- Wear appropriate safety PPE at all times.
- Must work well independently and as a team.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED.
- Class A CDL with Hazmat/Tanker Endorsement preferred. Class B CDL with Hazmat/Tanker Endorsement required.
- Must follow all FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Oilfield experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Lift and carry up to 100 pounds, tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds with the use of equipment. Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands. Will require daily climbing, standing, crouching and/or kneeling, sitting, walking, driving, and transitioning in/out of vehicles. Must be able to talk, hear, and feel attributes of objects or temperatures by touching with the skin. Required to have the visual acuity to safely and legally operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
Work Environment:
Indoors and outdoors, with exposure to environmental conditions such as extreme weather, precipitation and wind. Includes potential exposure to harmful chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil, and gases. Noise level is typically moderate, occasionally loud.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, interpret, and understand documents such as safety rules, safety data sheets (SDSs), operating instructions, and procedure manual. English language fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending.
Computer Skills:
Efficiently navigate a web browser, mobile applications, and programs such as Google Sheets and Excel for recording daily deliveries.

Must pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, FMCSA Clearinghouse, and education verification.
