Job Title: X-Ray Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience; C-arm and O-arm experience preferred License: South Carolina license must be in hand prior to start Certifications: ARRT, AHA BLS Must-Have: - Recent OR experience - C-arm and O-arm experience - Trauma experience preferred Description: The agency must supply a radiation badge. The daily caseload per technician varies. The technician will work four 10-hour shifts from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. The first week of the contract will involve working day shifts for orientation. The set schedule will begin the following week. There is a call rotation requirement of 3-4 days per month. Floating to other buildings on the same campus may be required. Candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience are preferred. First-time travelers are accepted. Radiation badge must be provided by the agency. Trauma experience is not required but preferred. All requested time off must be included at the time of submission. Approval for time off will be based on facility needs. All candidates must comply with submission guidelines. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. Travelers should ensure they do not confirm a new or extended assignment during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.
