Job Title: X-Ray Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10 hours (20:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: - Clinical screen passed as per guidelines - Availability to work designated holidays Description: Unit details include floating within the facility as needed. No call responsibilities required. Every other weekend required. Travelers are expected to work one major holiday if it falls within the assignment. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler must work two. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Full compliance is required to start on time; delays in compliance may push back start dates. Travelers must have two supervisory references available for review. Candidates must be available to submit core items and complete necessary tasks promptly after signing the contract. Local candidates are accepted. Travelers must complete one successful assignment outside the organization to return if deemed unable to return to prior facilities. Modules are completed during orientation, vary by specialty, and are recorded via transcripts.
