Certifications/Licences:
  • Required Education:
    • Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound training program.
    • Maintain continuing education requirements as set forth by ARDMS, CCI, ICAVL and ICAE.
  • Required Certifications & Licensure:
    • ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or CCI Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS).
    • BLS (American Heart Assoc.)
Mandatory Experience:
  • ECHO/CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER
  • Required: minimum of 2 + years ECHO experience; Registered in modality by CCI or ARDMS.
  • Advanced transthoracic echocardiography skills
  • Required Certifications & Licensure: ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), BLS (American Heart Assoc.)
  • Duration: 13 weeks Shift: M-F 5x8s 7:30AM-4PM Days
  • Perform non-invasive ultrasound in the modality of echocardiography.
  • Develop client relationships through excellent patient care.
  • Act as an educational resource to clients, providing quality and value to all aspects of services.
  • Able to participate in research and in procedures and will work in a supportive environment and be extensively trained on our protocols and standards while working on the latest equipment and technology.
  • Required Skills & Experience:
    • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written / verbal).
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with hospital management, physicians and technologists.
    • Current knowledge of technology and clinical advances related to cardia and/or vascular sonography.
    • Working knowledge of accreditation, credentialing, and quality assurance procedures.
    • Basic understanding of imager configuration, DICOM standards, networking and medical records.
