Job Title: Ultrasound Technician Profession: UltraT Specialty: Ultrasound Duration: Permanent Shift: 12 Hour Shifts, Rotate If Necessary Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: ARDMS (RVT) Required Certifications: None Required Must-Have: - Ability to work rotating call nights and weekends - Compliance with uniform and appearance policies Description: Position: Ultrasound Technician. Base pay is commensurate with experience. The shift requirements include three 12-hour shifts and rotating call nights and weekends. On-call duty is required every other weekend. Holidays will also involve rotating on-call responsibilities. The unit utilizes Samsung ultrasound machines. The system includes HIS/RIS Meditech and PACS NovaPACS. Radiology services are provided offsite. The expected patient volume is 12-15 patients per day. A relocation bonus is available, contingent upon proof of expenses. Jewelry must be kept to a minimum. Visible face and body piercings are not permitted while on duty. Examples of prohibited piercings include, but are not limited to, nose rings and eyebrow piercings.
