Job Title: Ultrasound Technician Profession: Ultrasound Specialty: OB/GYN/General Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 PM - 7 AM, Monday - Thursday) Experience: 6 months of Vascular and Echo experience required License: Not specified Certifications: ARDMS, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Required certifications will still be reviewed if not currently held Description: Operate imaging equipment and review images to ensure they are of good quality and helpful for diagnosis. Identify normal and abnormal imaging results. Communicate a summary of the results to physicians or other health professionals. Alert physicians to urgent problems. Occasional weekend daytime call, approximately every 6-7 weeks.
