A state-of-the-art, multispecialty ambulatory surgery center in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Surgery Center Administrator (RN preferred). The facility performs procedures in orthopedics, neurosurgery, and pain management across 2 operating rooms. The Administrator will lead day-to-day operations, financial performance, quality initiatives, and physician relationships while ensuring regulatory and accreditation compliance.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily facility operations across administrative, clinical support, and business functions.
Serve as liaison between the governing board, medical staff, facility leadership, and corporate office.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, quality, and safety standards.
Develop and manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets; monitor financial performance and address operational risks.
Oversee staffing, performance management, and workforce planning for clinical and non-clinical teams.
Support physician relationships, credentialing processes, and medical staff coordination.
Manage vendor, service, and physician contracts.
Lead quality improvement, infection control, and patient experience initiatives.
Participate in operational reviews, performance reporting, and identify opportunities for service line development and process improvement.
Registered Nurse (RN) strongly preferred.
Bachelor s degree required; Master s degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years senior administrative or healthcare management experience, ideally in an ASC operations leadership or director-level outpatient surgical setting.
Experience working closely with physicians and clinical leadership.
Proven experience fully managing a budget and meeting/exceeding financial goals in a healthcare leadership role.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with ability to manage multiple operational priorities.
Comfortable working in both office and clinical environments with mobility to move throughout the facility.
2+ to 5 years experience.
Seniority Level: Director.
