Candidates must have robotic experience, orthopedic experience, and neuro/spine experience. The operating room typically handles a variety of procedures, excluding transplant and cardiac surgery. The unit consists of 16 operating rooms staffed primarily by a team of registered nurses, surgical assistants, and surgical technologists, ensuring a 1:1 patient ratio. Equipment utilized includes robotics, neurosurgery, plastics, urology, and orthopedics. An electronic medical record system is in use. The preferred candidate is a team player. Weekend call rotation is required, averaging two shifts per week, which includes weekday nights and weekends.
