Minimum Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA.
  • Active Florida SLP license is required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
  • Experience with dysphagia management, clinical bedside swallowing evaluations, and use of standardized assessment tools preferred.
