The Travel Reservations & Sales Operations Manager plays a central role in ensuring the seamless delivery of ALE's expeditions and guest experiences in Union Glacier, Antarctica. This position bridges sales administration, partner coordination, overseeing both expeditions sold through Guide Companies, Agents, and the Expedition Manager, as well as direct guest bookings generated through ALE's marketing and social media channels.
In addition to managing bookings and guest documentation, the Travel Reservations & Sales Operations Manager oversees database accuracy, sales related financial activities, government contract requirements, and efficient support across the organization.

Database Management
- Oversee the seasonal operations within the databases (flights, experiences, packages, inventories).
- Monitor accuracy of Database and DCS System
Keys to Success
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, marketing or equivalent experience.
- Ten (10) years of experience in adventure tourism, sales administration, or operations management preferred.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive management experience, leading cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of supporting revenue growth through effective sales administration, partner coordination, and guest booking management.
- Understanding of market dynamics, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements
- Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and aligning sales with operational capacity
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making background
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting) and database.
- Intermediate level ability with MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, and project management software
- Ability to travel to our office in Chile and Antarctic operation in Union Glacier.
