Job Description:
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) position involves providing critical and general inpatient respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The role requires proficiency in ICU care and familiarity with various respiratory equipment and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care in adult and pediatric critical care, neonatal critical care, and general inpatient areas.
- Manage and operate ventilators and other respiratory support devices.
- Collaborate with clinical team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in patient assessments and the development of treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification; CRT considered based on experience.
- South Dakota RCP License (must be obtained prior to start date).
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- Experience with EPIC charting system.
