Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $2,057 to $2,257 per week in San Luis Obispo, CA

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in good standing with the State of California.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (NBRC-RRT) preferred; NBRC-CRT acceptable if applicable.
• Minimum 5 years of critical care respiratory therapy experience required.
• Minimum 2–3 years of neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) experience required, including neonatal intubation experience.
• Certifications required at time of hire or within 90 days: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Ability to complete documentation in electronic medical records and maintain accurate flow sheets and charges.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and to supervise others as delegated.
• Willingness to be available for occasional neonatal transport call as required by the unit.
