Job Description:
Registered Respiratory Therapists are responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in the NICU/PICU. This role involves working with various ventilators and performing procedures such as nebulizer therapy and airway clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Administering nebulizer therapy and airway clearance
- Setting up and monitoring BiPAP and ventilators
- Performing high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) procedures and bronchial assistance
- Conducting arterial blood gas (ABG) tests
Requirements:
- 6 months - 1 year of PICU or Level 3/Level 4 NICU experience
- Valid CRT or RRT certification
- Texas RCP license
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
