Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $58 – $65/hour

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to join a high-acuity surgical team in Dallas, TX. This role is ideal for a skilled RN with expertise in open heart and endovascular procedures who thrives in a fast-paced, complex surgical environment. You will work alongside leading cardiac and vascular surgeons, contributing to exceptional patient outcomes in advanced cardiovascular care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in open heart and endovascular surgical procedures, including cases involving IABP, Impella, ECMO, and hybrid techniques
• Deliver comprehensive perioperative care in a high-volume surgical setting
• Collaborate closely with cardiovascular surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff
• Manage multiple CVOR cases daily while maintaining patient safety and quality standards
• Participate in on-call rotation and holiday coverage as required

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in CVOR, including open heart and endovascular surgery
• Strong knowledge of advanced cardiac support devices (IABP, Impella, ECMO)
• Ability to perform effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced operating room environment
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Licensure & Certifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas or compact state)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
