Key Responsibilities of the Travel Radiologic Technologist
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment in accordance with physician orders
- Ensure proper patient positioning, shielding, and safety throughout each procedure
- Review images for quality and accuracy before submission to radiologists
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring functionality and cleanliness
- Adhere to all radiation safety protocols and guidelines
- Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients during exams
Requirements
- ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist)
- Active New York state license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a radiology/imaging setting
- BLS certification
