Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Work Setting: Health and Rehabilitation Center
Pay Rate: Up to $40/hour
Shift Length and Days: 8-5 Mon-Fri, can be flexible if needed
Job Summary:

exceptional workplace culture to bring you an incredible Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
opportunity. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will provide
high-quality therapeutic services to patients, assisting in the implementation of treatment
plans designed to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall physical function.
This position requires a valid Oregon PTA license and a commitment to patient-centered
care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver physical therapy interventions as outlined in the treatment plan developed
by the supervising Physical Therapist, including therapeutic exercises, manual
techniques, and modalities.
• Assist patients in performing prescribed exercises and activities to restore function,
prevent disability, and achieve rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes or concerns to the
supervising Physical Therapist for timely adjustments to care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, safety techniques, and home care
instructions within the scope of practice.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment, ensuring compliance
with facility policies and state regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with the therapy team and other healthcare professionals to
optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and Oregon Board of Physical Therapy regulations and
standards of practice.
Qualifications:
• Licensed in Oregon or a graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
program.
• Experience in post-acute care or similar healthcare environment preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with facility staff to promote highest practicable physical,
mental and psychosocial wellbeing.
