Key Responsibilities of the Travel Physical Therapist Assistant:
- Carry out treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Help patients improve strength, mobility, and function
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately and thoroughly
- Provide education and instruction to patients and caregivers on exercises and safety
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure effective outcomes
Requirements of the Travel Physical Therapist Assistant:
- Active North Carolina Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- At least 1 year of recent experience in a clinical or rehab setting preferred
- BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
