Description: The role involves working in an inpatient rehabilitation unit. Candidates will provide care to orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general medical/surgical populations. The facility has a 42-bed inpatient rehab unit with an average of 12 staff members on shift, including physical and occupational therapists and assistants. Patient ratios may vary based on volume. Typical equipment used includes treatment beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, and exercise bikes. Experience with electronic medical records is preferred. The hiring profile seeks critical thinkers and team players who are compassionate, technologically advanced, and possess excellent time management skills. The dress code includes grey scrubs.
