Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Florida PTA license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC required prior to start.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Experience with common SNF documentation systems and electronic medical records preferred.
  • Ability to work with geriatric patients, including transfers, gait training, and restorative nursing programs.
  • Ability to follow care plans established by licensed Physical Therapists and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
