Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from a CAPTE-accredited program.
  • Current, active Maryland PTA license required to start the assignment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC may be required prior to start.
  • At least 1 year of hospital acute care experience preferred; new graduates with strong acute clinical rotations will be considered.
  • Experience treating a mix of orthopedic, neurological, and critical care caseloads preferred.
  • Ability to provide one-on-one patient care across the lifespan in a fast-paced inpatient setting.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Hospital (inpatient acute care).
  • Shift: Days.
  • Shift schedule: Monday - Friday with one weekend day per month.
  • Team environment: Large, fast-paced team treating diverse diagnoses including orthopedics, neurology, and critical care.
  • Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities within the health system as needed.
