Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree acceptable).
• Current California Physical Therapist license required by start of contract.
• Recent experience in outpatient orthopedics required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to provide one-on-one patient care across diagnoses including orthopedics, general deconditioning, balance and fall prevention.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Outlook and Word. Ability to learn Cerner EMR and facility clinical applications.
• Interpersonal and analytical skills to instruct and comfort patients and to prioritize caseloads.
• Willingness to float to acute/inpatient care as needed.
• Preferred: Inpatient/acute care experience (training/mentoring provided if needed).
• Preferred: Additional specialty experience such as pelvic health, vestibular rehabilitation, outpatient neuro rehab, pediatrics, or lymphedema.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital outpatient clinic.
• Shift: Days.
• Shift hours: 0800-1830.
• Days per week: 4 days/week.
• On-call requirement: One weekend per month, approx. 0700-0900 each day for inpatient coverage.
• Patient population: Primarily outpatient orthopedics; occasional inpatient/acute care as needed.
