ID: 76687359 Shift: 8H Days 8 hour days Tuesday- Saturday Description: Unit Notes:- Unit: PT Manager: Terri Elliot- # beds: They have inpatient and Outpatient but at this time they are only hiring for inpatient, 2 outpatient locations, one connected with hospital and one nearby the hospital, inpatient care consists of- all acute care, no skilled, no acute care, all areas of hospital - Certs: BLS and license - EMR: Cerner - Charge Nurse: Director - Andrea, Day schedule (M-F) - Nurse Aides: rehab techs (1 currently) - Weekend Requirement: may require a Saturday or Sunday, depends on weekend - Holidays: all staff required to work holidays - Scrub Color: polo (burgundy) with dark colored pants (business attire) -staff there like to wear lab coats but it is not required - Tele: No- Vents: Yes - they may have to do therapy for vented patients in ICU- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Yes -only daytime hours - IV Team: No- RT 24/7: Yes- Pharmacy 24/7: In house until 10 pm. 24/7 access - pharmacy out of Dominican hospital after hours does auto verification, Do have an on-call pharmacist.- Shifts: 8 hr shifts, 8:30am -5pm, 9am-5:30pm, 9:30am-6pm or 1030am to 7pm, varied shifts, they will get a day off during the week when they have a weekend shift to work, schedules made up by staffing management, schedules made out about a month in advance or more - Floating: No - outpatient may be required to float to inpatient - Floor specific orientation: very brief orientation usually a day or less - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Will cover any patient populations on medsurg, tele, ICU, etc. units - Additional Notes: Not currently looking for fulltime, want someone who can hit the ground running, must have experience with ortho and total joints, as well ICU experience, ventilated patients as well, medsurg, oncology, they see a little bit of everything, they have a big cardiology population (cardiac Surgeries), they must have at least 2 years experience in acute care PT. Cancellation can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 Charting BSN License to Trauma Level: Care Shift Notes:8 hour days Tuesday- Saturday Required Certification, COVID Vaccine Required (Certification) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Contract Weeks:91
