Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Arizona physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience providing outpatient orthopedic physical therapy required. Preference given to candidates with prior outpatient clinic experience in orthopedics or post-operative care.
- Competence in completing comprehensive evaluations, developing treatment plans, goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, letters of medical necessity, and timely documentation in electronic medical records.
- Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy aides or assistants and to participate in student clinical education as needed.
- Maintains professional licensure and meets state-mandated continuing education requirements. Adherence to profession-specific code of conduct and organizational compliance standards is required.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient and employee safety, including safe patient handling and infection control practices.
