Job Description:

This role involves submitting prior authorizations for prescriptions or specialty medications, completing medication assistance or grant funding applications for patients, and contacting insurance companies for status updates. Chart notes are pulled from EPIC.

Responsibilities:

• Submit prior authorizations for prescriptions or specialty medications
• Complete medication assistance or grant funding applications for patients
• Contact insurance companies for status updates
• Pull chart notes from EPIC

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in insurance billing, revenue cycle, and prior authorizations
• High School diploma and 3 years of relevant work experience or Associate's degree in related field with 1 year of relevant work experience
• EPIC experience is a plus
• Professionalism and consistent work history are required
• Pharmacy tech license preferred but not required
