Job Title: Oncology IV Room Coordinator Profession: Pharmacy Specialty: Pharmacist Inpatient Duration: Temp-to-Perm Opportunity Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year highly preferred License: Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of practice Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: - Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Pharmacy Program - Ability to use the Pharmacy computer system at an acceptable level after training - Knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care based on disease and patient age - Ability to assess and interpret patient data and provide necessary care Description: This position is for an Oncology IV Room Coordinator in a Cancer Center Pharmacy. It is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity and there is no obligation to convert upon completion of the travel contract. Prior experience in a Cancer Center is highly preferred, but first-time travelers are welcome. Candidates local to the area are also accepted. Pending license applications will be considered. The Oncology IV Room Coordinator must demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development. The individual must possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status. Knowledge of the Pharmacy/IV Admixture Department policies and procedures is required. Most hours will be set during the week, but willingness to accept call back when necessary is required.
