Travel Perfusionist - $6,200 to $6,400 per week in Santa Barbara, CA

Pay Rate: $155.00 - $160.00/Hourly.

Summary: The Perfusionist is a highly specialized allied health professional responsible for operating extracorporeal circulation equipment during cardiac and cardiothoracic surgical procedures. The Perfusionist manages cardiopulmonary bypass, monitors physiologic parameters, and collaborates closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heart-lung machines and related extracorporeal circulation equipment.
• Manage cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) during cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures.
• Monitor and adjust blood flow, oxygenation, temperature, anticoagulation, and hemodynamics.
• Administer blood products, medications, and anesthetic agents via extracorporeal circuits as directed.
