Pay Rate: $150.00 - $160.00/Hourly.

Summary: A Perfusionist is a highly trained healthcare professional responsible for operating heart-lung machines and other extracorporeal circulation equipment during cardiac and major vascular surgeries. The perfusionist ensures the safe management of a patient’s physiological functions—such as circulation, oxygenation, and blood chemistry—while the heart and/or lungs are temporarily stopped during surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) machines during cardiac procedures.
• Administer blood products, medications, and anesthetic agents as directed.
• Review patient history and lab results.
• Prepare and test perfusion equipment.
